Here are the chord diagrams for "Row, Row, Row Your
Boat". You simply hold your fingers down on the black dot positions on your ukulele. For the G chord, place your index finger on the 3rd string, 2nd fret and your middle finger on the 1st string, 2nd fret. This is the “Hawaiian style” G chord — how we teach our kids. It’s easy. After a while, you can add the red dot to play the chord correctly. Hey! It works. The second chord diagram is the D7 chord – same 2nd fret position, just move your fingers from the 1st and 3rd strings to the 2nd and 4th strings. That’s right, just pick them up and move them over. To play the song, strum one downstroke of the chord above each word or words.
